Garden on terraces
Year: 2011
Location: Tsavkisi Valley
One of the most beloved projects of our team, this client fully trusted our professionalism, and the result we achieved was delightful for all of us.
The slope behind the house was divided into several terraces, which gradually descended towards the southeast. The geometric grid, based on the architectural layout of the building, was used as the foundation for the landscape design. Japanese garden elements imbue the landscape with an oriental mood, particularly in the area where we designed a summer kitchen, fire pit, and dining room, all surrounded by a channel of water that culminates in a small waterfall feeding into a rectangular pool at the garden's lowest level.
Ornamental grasses and perennials, arranged in colorful compositions to provide maximum decorative interest in autumn, enhance rather than disrupt the landscape's integrity, highlighting the garden's unique charm.
Well-thought-out vertical planning, a play of levels, textures, and plant colors, consideration of different seasonal effects, architectural elements, and the original design of water features combine to create a delicate blend of landscape styles. This makes the garden an unforgettable place for contemplating nature and savoring life's pleasures.
